GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR PENSION IN MAHARASHTRA

LIMITATIONS ON NUMBER OF PENSIONS:

1. A Non-Teaching employee shall not earn two pensions for completing the service eithter in the University or in the affiliated college.
2. A non-teaching employee who have retired on superannuation pension or retiring pension is subsequently re-employed, shall not be entitled to a separate Pension or gratuity for the period of his re-employment.

ADMISSIBILITY OF WOUND AND EXTRAORDINARY FAMILY PENSION:

The provisions of rules 141 to 153 and the provisions in Form (3) in Appendix III appended to these rules which govern the grant of wound or injury pension and extraordinary family pension on account of injuries or death apply to all persons employed in the Universities or affiliated colleges whether permanently or if they are covered under the salary payment scheme temporarily.
